I designed a 3-Day Film Festival for UW filmmakers on Figma.
This concept is built to college students interested in films to enjoy, interact, and experiment with the film-making process to reconnect with their Inner Child
the raw instinct to chase light, freeze moments,
and create without permission.

Y2K style is bold, loud, and fearlessly expressive—a product of a tech-charged era that encouraged rebellion.
That’s the vibe I want here: a festival where any student, pro or not, can jump into filmmaking with curiosity and conviction.

I chose Fascinate Inline for its rounded softness. Paired with all-lowercase neon lettering, the wordmark feels both welcoming and unique.
For the body text, I paired it with Afacad. It’s thinner and simpler, but it still matches. Both fonts have wide spacing and rounded edges, which makes everything feel friendly and easy to read on a screen.

I wanted the palette to feel energetic but still soft and approachable.
Indigo and orange bring the boldness
pink and cream soften it.
Gray, black, and white anchor everything and keep the visuals balanced and clear.
